We're still waiting to take the site offline, and do the server replication... Iweb took all day yesterday to install our two servers. And then they've made a mistake installing the operating system in the wrong drive or something... So we'll get that sorted. And then finally begin the downtime! Which will last 7-12hours I think.

And as soon as we're back online, i'll try and get things back to normal right away.

For which, I'm planning to do an artificially small ad issue the first day (hopefully tonight). Then double that the second day; and then issue the full amount the third day (which will hopefully be more than double again)... As I think taking 72hours to "noticably snowball" the results will have more effect than 'risking' all our available ad issue funds on the first day; which may not be appreciated due to the proximity to all the problems. Especially as the dollar value likely won't be up to peoples unrealistic expecations of a giant result after a few days of downtime.

So we'll take it slow and steady, and see if we can't get back to our crazy growth by Monday.

The programmers have instrutions to extend all ad timers to 24hours+ as of when we re-activate the view ads process. And to retrieve any ads that may have gone to the recycle cron (that's currently disabled)... so you shouldn't lose any ads.

* And if its possible, we'll add some days to super user upgrades... But that's not really an issue, as they extend by an additional week automatically anyway if the quota isn't delivered.
